Hey there, my name is Eric. I’m a graphic designer & photographer currently living in Limerick, Republic of Ireland where I run a graphic design company called Always on Design.

As a result of which, I spend most of my days designing lovely things for lovely people. When I’m not doing that then I’m most likely out & about taking photographs of lovely things or lovely people!

I studied Visual Communications at the Limerick School of Art & Design, graduating in 2006 with a BA Hon.

I’ve always loved photography. My camera comes almost everywhere with me (at this stage it’s a borderline addiction I think!) I love being able to capture moments in time. Sometimes literally, sometimes abstract. For me, photography is often less about documenting the actual  aesthetics of a subject and more about capturing the mood of all contributing factors at the exact time the shutter closes. 

I guess that’s why I love photographing live music. There’s something very spontaneous about it, anything can happen. Looking through a lens waiting. Waiting for the drums to kicks back in, for the bass to drop, for that spot light to move back across. It’s a game of chance in essence but I love it all the same!

This site is more of a photo blog than a traditional portfolio so whenever I snap a shot or two they’ll more than likely end up here. I hope you enjoy.
